In 2003, with outstanding achievements, Vietnam financial market and services have developed strongly and become a bright point in the overall picture of the economy. Total mobilization of capital for investment and development in the year reached VND230,000 billion, accounting for 35% of GDP. From January to November, together with the capital from sources of the state budget, ODA, FDI, volume of capital mobilization was diversified with several channels, including government bonds with a total of VND24,000 billion.
